Logo System: Two Marks

The brand uses two marks with distinct roles — the SMN wordmark (organization-level) and The Sequence Code key (program-level, locked May 2026). Do not substitute one for the other. The key has five ascending teeth, each representing a playbook step; tooth 4 is the tallest and the only purple accent — the breakthrough step (Find a Trial), where DNA data becomes action.

About Sequence Me Now.

Standard Boilerplate · 200 words

Sequence Me Now (SMN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in Portland, Oregon in 2018 by Bryce Olson, a Stage IV prostate cancer patient who outlived a 21-month prognosis by nine years through personalized medicine and clinical trials.

SMN's mission is Power to the Patient: putting curated, patient-built self-advocacy tools and resources directly in patients' hands. SMN's vision is Personalized Medicine for All: bringing personalized medicine to every patient, including in community hospitals and rural areas. Make cancer survivable.

Two in three advanced cancer patients never receive the molecular testing that could guide their treatment. SMN's flagship program, The Sequence Code, is a free five-step patient-built playbook: Get Educated, Ask to Get Sequenced, Decode Your Report, Find a Trial, Find Support.

Bryce walked all five steps when standard treatment failed. He enrolled in four clinical trials at four cancer centers. He was featured in WIRED, Forbes, STAT News, ABC, and The Washington Post. He passed away on July 13, 2023. His daughter Devona and the Motley Crew — volunteer operators from NIKE, NVIDIA, Intel, and the Oregon and Montana healthcare systems — carry his mission forward.

Walk in scared. Walk out armed.
